Why I Became A Therapist
I became a therapist because of what I’ve gone through — and continue to go through — in life.
I’ve been in therapy myself for over half of my life, so I know firsthand that it’s not always easy.
This personal experience, combined with my professional training, allows me to meet you where you are. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I believe the answers you’re looking for are already within you. My role is to help you uncover them.
What You Can Expect
Therapy can be hard work, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. I’m here to support you through that work by creating a space that’s tailored to you. A space where you feel heard, understood, and safe to be yourself.
I love helping people connect the puzzle pieces of their lives — thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences — to discover patterns and insights. That self-awareness can be a powerful step toward healing and growth.
Humor & Therapy
Healing doesn’t always have to be heavy. I welcome humor and even a little silliness into the therapeutic process.
I truly believe that laughter between two people is healing in its own right and I want you to feel like you can bring your whole self into our work together.
